This song was inspired by the work of “Witness at the Border”. Their witnessing began at the Tornillo detention center for migrant children in 2018. Their goal is to not allow the atrocities happening in our country to go unseen. Their work continues today, tracking ICE flights and bearing witness to in immigration court and on the streets. We all must use our voice and not stand silent as these injustices are happening in our country.
