I am very much looking forward to playing a series of shows with bassist/looping artist Steve Lawson directly following the National Association of Music Merchandisers (NAMM) show next week. Steve hails from the UK and is a good friend and a great inspiration. We toured together in England on a triple-bill solo bassist show along with Michael Manring. Steve's music can best be described as "soundscapes" and his use of loop recording devices and special effects is second to none. Looking forward to out musical explorations and hearing the colors he decided to paint on my songs in the set.
